All systems are operational.
Replication has been fully restored and synchronization is complete.
The issue was caused by a missing route configuration on the new routers, which disrupted backup replication between datacenters. The correct route has been added, and connectivity has been restored. Off-site replication is now fully operational. Local backups were unaffected throughout the incident.
We are currently monitoring the replication process to ensure all systems are fully synchronized. Once synchronization is complete, the incident will be formally closed.
The loss of connectivity for the backup infrastructure between the datacenters was caused by a missing route configuration on the new routers.
The local backup infrastructure within each datacenter continues to operate without any customer-facing impact. Backups of customer machines are continuing and remain available within the originating datacenter.
This incident only affects off-site replication and does not impact active services.
Following the router replacements carried out during the maintenance window on June 6, 2025, the backup infrastructure lost connectivity between the datacenters.
As a result, replication between the datacenter backup infrastructure, the remote site, and the remote geo-backup infrastructure was not possible.
Replication of backups between the backup system within the datacenter and the remote site and remote geo has stopped working.
